PHASE Worldwide was set up around a kitchen table in 2005 by a group of friends with a love for Nepal. Together, they wanted to start a charity which focused on supporting projects in health, education, and livelihoods. Since then, this Bristol based charity has raised millions of pounds, and each year changes the lives of over 50,000 people in Nepal.

Motherdom is delighted to be a communications partner for PHASE Worldwide’s Start Strong UK Aid Match Appeal, which is raising money to support 1,000 women and their children in Nepal. Until the 25th of June, all donations made towards the Start Strong Appeal will be matched by the UK Government, allowing PHASE Worldwide to double their impact. The appeal will fund a three-year project, starting in October 2021, which will aim to improve maternal healthcare and increase the availability of high value foods, ensuring that all children, no matter where they were born, are given a strong start in life.
